Parts Runner

    Amarillo, TX
    Regional Travel
    Full-Time

Spartan Boiler & Mechanical is the premier commercial and industrial mechanical contractor specializing in boiler systems, steam plant construction, process piping, water treatment equipment, pressure vessel fabrication, and critical mechanical systems throughout the Central United States.

We are seeking a dependable Parts Runner to support our field technicians, project crews, parts department, and  fabrication shop.

This position is responsible for picking up and delivering parts, materials, tools, and equipment; receiving and organizing inventory; preparing materials for jobs; and helping keep our field operations supplied and moving.

A Parts Runner may start the morning picking up a motor from a supplier, deliver valves and fittings to a service technician, return equipment to the shop, receive an incoming shipment, pull materials for the next day's jobs, and help load a truck or trailer before the day is over.

The position requires someone who is dependable, organized, careful with equipment and materials, and comfortable working independently throughout the day.

You do not need previous boiler experience. We can teach you our equipment and parts. What we need is someone who can follow instructions, pay attention to details, take care of company property, and understand that other people's work depends on you doing your job correctly and on time.

What You'll Do

  • Return unused material from completed jobs to the proper inventory or storage location
